Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to everything you want to know about dental digital imaging.

The advantages of digital imaging are multiple:

  • Reduced radiation dose by up to 70%.
  • Significantly superior image quality and extensive processing options.
  • All anatomical structures and pathological lesions are much clearer to see.
  • Ability to scan only targeted jaw sections with even lower radiation.
  • Scans are printed on film or delivered online without loss of quality.
  • Scans are archived in our database and always readily accessible.

Dental scans are performed by professional medical radiologists, specially trained and licensed for these procedures. Their work is overseen by dentists certified in radiation control and ionizing radiation protection.

The imaging process itself is very fast — including the delivery of the scan, it takes under 10 minutes. The procedure is completely painless and comfortable for the patient.

The radiation dose in modern digital equipment is minimal, and the radiation beam is strictly collimated to the target area. All patients are protected with lead aprons, and all equipment is certified by the Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Security Directorate of the Republic of Serbia.

Imaging is completely safe for children. Specialized pediatric programs with reduced radiation fields and significantly lower radiation doses are used. The device will not allow any other exposure mode based on the child's age.
